General
1. This promotion is conducted by The Hospital Research Foundation Inc. (THRF) (ABN: 86 248 830 078) (the “Promoter”), in collaboration with the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
2. Information on how to enter and the prizes forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and anything else that refers to this competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
Promotion Period
4. The competition commences at 3:00pm (ACST) on Friday 19 June 2026 and closes at 12:00am (ACST) on Wednesday 1st July 2026.
5. Entries received outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
Eligibility
6. Entry is open to South Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
7. Entrants under the age of 18 must have parent or legal guardian consent to enter. If the winner is under 18, the prize must be accepted by their parent or legal guardian, who must accompany them to collect their prize.
8. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Adelaide Thunderbirds, and associated agencies are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter
9. To enter the Thunderbirds Finals Raffle, participants must purchase a raffle ticket and complete their ticket purchase online via the Funraisin platform by 12:00am ACST on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Eligible participants will be automatically entered into the draw for a chance to win one (1) of eight (8) prizes.
Prize
10. Eight (8) winners will each receive a prize, as follows:
The first winner will receive one (1) Framed Signed 2026 Thunderbirds Dress (valued at AUD $500) and one (1) Signed Thunderbirds Beanie (valued at AUD $100).
The second, third and fourth winners will each receive one (1) Signed Thunderbirds Netball (valued at AUD $250 each).
The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth winners will each receive one (1) Signed Thunderbirds Beanie (valued at AUD $100 each).
Total number of winners: 8
Total prize pool value: AUD $1,750
The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Winner Selection & Notification
11. The winners will be the first valid entries submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions that are drawn by The Hospital Research Foundation Group staff by random computer selection at 10:00am ACST on Thursday 02/07/2026 at 62 Woodville Road, Woodville, SA 5011.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decision the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.
13. The winners will be notified by phone and email on Thursday 02/07/2026. The prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry.
14. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
Use of Entries
15. By entering, participants agree that the Promoter may use their name, image, and/or social media handle for promotional and marketing purposes related to this raffle without compensation unless the Promoter is advised otherwise.
Further Terms and Conditions
16. Subject to complying with all relevant State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
17. Entrants are responsible for any cost associated with accessing the promotional website.
18. If any prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State legislation. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
19. The winners may collect their prizes from 62 Woodville Road, Woodville SA 5011. If collection is not possible in person, the prize will be posted to the winner’s address obtained during their raffle ticket purchase. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to deliver the prize to the address provided by the winner. If the prize is returned to the Promoter because it could not be delivered to the address provided, the Promoter cannot guarantee that it will be able to resend the prize. The Promoter and its affiliates will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of the prize.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize if an entrant who claims to be a prize winner is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions.
